All positions are on a volunteer and unpaid basis.

Topics: How-to articles that are relevant to the communications job seekers in the following industries

  • Journalism
  • Public Relations
  • Visual Communications
  • Marketing Communications
  • Traditional and New Media

The Pitch: Send us a pitch or a written blog post to Please also include a title, writer’s bio, social media links and your submission deadline. To increase your chances of being selected, please read How To Write a Winning Guest Post.

The Article: All articles are to be submitted with 2-5 relevant images. Please only submit images that you hold the copyright to or if you have attained the right to use them, provide a source credit. We only accept original material that has not been posted elsewhere and has not infringed upon any copyright laws.

Timeliness: As this is a site for students, we plan our content schedule according to academic calendars. For example, if you send us a post about exams preparation in December, we are unable to publish it until approx April/May the following year. Job and internship related articles are best suited at the start of summer vacations (Australian: Nov; America: June).

Contributing Writers

Contributing writers are required to submit 3 blog posts a month for a minimum of 5 months.

Priorities are given to Media and Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing and Advertising majors. Course credits can be provided by New York based consultancy, Braathe Enterprises, as part of their Virtual Internship Programme.
